Maria Viñas

Maria studied at Cleveland State University her Bachelors in Music Therapy with a focus on violin studies. Ms. Viñas began studying the violin at the Aurora School of Music in 2009 and has had the pleasure of working with many teachers over the course of her time at the school. Ms. Viñas studied with *Takako Masame, at Cleveland State University. In her hometown of Twinsburg, Ohio Ms. Viñas has performed locally with the Barberton High School, Aurora Community Theatre, The Garfield Heights Center of the Performing Arts, Bedford High school and Akron Youth Philharmonic. Ms. Viñas currently resides in Cleveland, Ohio where she has worked with closely with *Isabel Trautwein, and Chris Auerbach-Brown on coaching The Music Settlement’s advanced chamber orchestra. She also performs for the CSU Symphony Orchestra, CSU Chamber Orchestra and Cleveland Philharmonic. Ms. Viñas has performed under the baton of Victor Liva, *Charles Carlton, Neil Zaza, Charles Schneider, Robert Cassidy and Liza Grossman.
