
Kim Weaver
Kim attended LCCC and Cleveland State University. She began performing at the age of 13 in a wedding band in which she sang and played sax, clarinet, guitar, and bass. She left this band in 1995. She is a retired surgical nurse, and the mother of 3 grown children and has 6 grandchildren. She started playing oboe and English horn in 2001. She currently studies with Danna Sundet. In addition to the LCCC Orchestra, she currently performs with the LCCC Wind Ensemble, the Patriot Symphonic Winds, True North Orchestra, and various small ensembles. She has also performed in the past with Cleveland Philharmonic Orchestra, Parma Symphony, Oberlin College Symphonic Winds (under Dr. John Knight), and the Hermit Club Orchestra.
