Jordan Alegant

Jordan Alegant

Jordan Alegant is a multi-instrumentalist and songwriter currently based in the northeast Ohio area.
Jordan began taking cello lessons at an early age and rapidly fell in love with the instrument; playing in the Northern Ohio Youth Orchestra and even attending Interlochen for a few summers! However, his interests shifted to electric bass in high school, so he set the cello down, moved to Boston, and earned degrees in Electric Bass Performance and Electronic Production and Design from Berklee College of Music.

After graduation, Jordan worked for a decade as a recording and gigging musician all around New England before heading back to Ohio, all the while adding songwriting, vocals, and guitar to his arsenal before rediscovering cello once again!

Jordan currently resides in Sheffield Lake with his wife Brittney and their children Faye, Mia, and Milo.
Recently, Jordan has performed as a soloist and section leader with the LCCC Civic Orchestra, True North Cultural Arts, and various other groups in the Northeast-Ohio area. He also teaches bass, cello, guitar, and audio production through Rock Town Music Academy in Lorain, Ohio.
