TrueNorth Cultural Arts Announces Upcoming Auditions:
Falling by Deanna Jent
Directed by Melissa Crum

About the Play:
Falling boldly explores the dynamic and complicated reality of a family with an autistic young man. When a relative comes to visit, the entire family is thrown out of equilibrium, with everyone trying to balance what is best for the family and what is best for them. The play bravely speaks a truth about love and family and about hopes and dreams. It asks, “How do you love someone who is difficult to love?”

About the Director:
Melissa Crum is a Cleveland based Director, Actor, and Creator of Original work. Melissa was a recipient of the 2013-2014 Joan Yellen Horwitz Directing Fellowship at Cleveland Public Theatre where she directed the critically acclaimed The Drowning Girls. Crum holds a Bachelor of the Arts in Theatre from Cleveland State University and currently works as a Teaching Artist for Playhouse Square.
